We travelled to the Shetlands with the Northlink Ferry Service. It is an overnight service on a large ocean liner. We had a four-berth cabin and all became very seasick on our trip to the islands. We had a much calmer voyage back and were more prepared with ginger tablets and homeopathic travel sickness pills!
